Coalition Events

On October 3^rd, the Maryland Health Care Coalition Against Domestic Violence recognized Domestic Violence Awareness Month with a viewing of A Better Man, a documentary that explores how restorative justice can address intimate partner violence. Priya Bhayana of Restorative Response Baltimore began the night with an overview of promising restorative justice work, and how the approach can be somewhat complicated and controversial when applied to domestic violence.  The group held a brief discussion after the movie, enjoying food, drinks and camaraderie.
