On Wednesday, April 15th, 2020 Fushena Cruickshank, Consultant of the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group and member of the Maryland Health Care Coalition Against Domestic Violence, was featured on WYPR’s “On the Record” to talk about intimate partner violence (IPV) in light of COVID-19. During the segment, Cruickshank discusses the complications of the pandemic for IPV victims, communicates services that are still available for those being abused, and highlights what the Coalition’s members are doing to support each other and the greater community.
