We are thrilled to announce that Colleen Moore, the Coalition’s President and the Manager of the Center for Hope Abuse and Assault Response Team (CHAART), has been named a 2025 Bloomberg American Health Initiative Fellow! This prestigious Fellowship will enable her to pursue a degree at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and further strengthen her ability to make a positive impact on our community.
Colleen brings over thirty years of experience in the domestic violence field, where she has worked with survivors in both health care and domestic violence program settings. Her expertise spans professional training for medical providers, educational outreach, and systems-level advocacy—making her uniquely positioned to bridge public health and survivor-centered care. Her academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, and her leadership as Coalition President continues to elevate our mission and expand our reach. We look forward to the insights and innovations she will bring back to the Coalition’s work through this next chapter.
