Please join us for a presentation by the National Network to End Domestic Violence, paired with a conversation between a survivor with lived experience and the Maryland Network Against Domestic Violence.

Subjects covered during this training will include: the importance of language and beliefs, dynamics of intimate partner violence, impact of trauma, the intersection of IPV and HIV, promising practices when working with survivors of IPV who may be living with HIV and steps on how health care agencies can build meaningful partnerships with IPV organizations.

The Maryland Health Care Coalition Against Domestic Violence is authorized by the Board of Social Work Examiners in Maryland to sponsor social work continuing education programs and maintains full responsibility for this program. This training qualifies for 2 Category I continuing education units.
