A safety plan is a personalized plan designed to help you increase your safety at any stage of your journey. Whether you are experiencing abuse, thinking about leaving, or have already left, it can help you prepare for different situations and identify resources and support. The tools below can help you to plan, or an advocate can help you at one of these agencies.

You can download the mobile app or use on a web-browser to create a plan to keep yourself safe, regardless of whether you leave or stay in the abusive relationship. This tool offers built-in tech safety features and is offered in English and Spanish.
The Hotline’s: Create Your Personal Safety Plan
This tool will guide you through questions to help you create a personalized safety plan. You can complete it on your own or with someone you trust, then view, print, or email your plan.

Maryland Network Against Domestic Violence
The Maryland Network Against Domestic Violence This agency is Maryland’s statewide domestic violence coalition. MNADV provides training, advocacy, technical assistance, and resources to strengthen services for survivors and work toward ending intimate partner violence across the state.
