In September, the Maryland Health Care Coalition Against Domestic Violence sponsored and had members attend the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence’s 18th Conference in Washington D.C.
“NCADV’s conferences are known for their cutting-edge content and survivor-centric focus… (concentrating) on how advocates do the work in the domestic violence field. The conference is intentional in that it is convened to delve deeper into the causes of violence and its impact and effect on individuals, communities and our nation.”
This year’s theme was Voices in Action, and the Coalition’s presence helped to ensure that the voice of the health care community was heard.
