Local Domestic Violence Programs in Maryland

The Maryland Network Against Domestic Violence provides trainings for professionals and offers a list of comprehensive domestic violence programs in Maryland, by county. Each program is unique and can offer things like a 24/7 hotline, counseling, the ability to speak with an advocate about your safety, resources for safe housing, and may be able to assist you with the court process. Here is the list of programs.

Maryland Hospital-Based Domestic Violence Programs

These programs can offer a 24/7 advocacy-based response to intimate partner violence within some hospitals in Maryland. Each program varies in services offered.

National Human Trafficking Hotline

This hotline offers round-the-clock assistance for victims or those seeking help related to human trafficking, via call, text, or live chat. Call 1-888-373-7888 (TYY 711) or Text 233733

Childhelp – National Child Abuse Hotline

This service provides 24/7 support and resources for children experiencing abuse or neglect, accessible by call, text, or live chat. Call 1-800-4-A-CHILD (1-800-422-4453)

988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline

This line offers immediate, 24/7 crisis support for anyone experiencing suicidal thoughts or emotional distress. Call 988 for assistance.

Substance Abuse and Mental Health National 24/7 Helpline

This 24/7 hotline helps individuals find treatment and resources for substance use or mental health challenges. Call 1-800-662-HELP (4357).
