Practicing Self- Compassion

Practicing Self- Compassion

You have the power to reshape your thoughts with compassion.

Our brains are wired to focus on the negative, in order to survive. This is called “negativity bias.” We can use compassionate statements to help change our neural pathways from defaulting to negativity bias to more compassionate statements.

  • Learn more here on how to create compassionate pathways in your brain.
  • Learn more here about self-compassion for abuse survivors.

Practicing Self- Compassion

Help us educate health care providers to make a difference in the lives of survivors.
