Creating a Dopamenu

Creating a Dopamenu

A simple, personalized self-care tool that helps boost motivation, focus, and mood.

The name, “dopamenu” comes from “dopamine” (a brain chemical linked to pleasure and motivation) and “menu,” because it’s like a list of choices you can pick from depending on what you need.

A tool that can be used when you’re feeling overwhelmed, a dopamenu takes the stress out of deciding what to do. It’s a list of easy, enjoyable activities that can lift your mood, give energy, or help you relax.

Dopamenus are usually organized like a restaurant menu:

  • Starters: Quick, low-effort things like stretching, stepping outside, or listening to music.

  • Mains: More engaging activities like going for a walk, working on a project, or connecting with a friend.

  • Desserts: Small treats or rewards like a snack, a short video, or a hobby you enjoy.

In short, a dopamenu is a ready-to-go list of activities that help you reset, refocus, and recharge when you need it most.
